Making the team
Here are the clubs that use our centre.
Belper Marlins
The club was formed in 1977, but our origins go back long before then (see the History page). Our main squad sessions take place at the Belper Leisure Centre in Belper, whilst our Learn to swim programmes take place in Heanor and Alfreton. We provide competitive swimming for children of all ages and also have a Masters section for the adults.

RASCALS – Ripley Amateur Swimming Club And Life Savers
With a Learn-To-Swim section as well, we offer training for aspiring and experienced athletes in both disciplines, from Local and County level through to Midland, National and International, with some who started with us reaching the Olympic Team, currently Molly Renshaw and Jacob Whittle.
This covers all aspects from stroke to turns and experience competing in Open Meets, Galas and Championships for both swimming and lifesaving sections, all following the guidance of the respective Governing Bodies: Swim England; RLSS & Surf GB.
All of this with fun, friends and family in mind, as they can help too!
