Gym

We have instructors who are available to help you discover the right equipment for you and your goals.

We have accessible equipment in our Gym to help you do activities that improve your heart health and your muscle strength.

Exercise Referral 

If you have suffered an illness or recently had an operation our GP referral sessions will help you get back into fitness.  You’ll need a ‘prescription to exercise’ from your doctor to get started and our instructors will support you through your sessions.

Our GP referral scheme gives you 20 sessions to use within a 12-week period of time for the gym and swimming pool. You get a consultation and programme write up in the gym with one of our highly qualified personal trainers.

  • The scheme costs £45 (£2.25 per session).

1-1 Personal Training 

If you would prefer to have 1 on 1 support in the Gym and a tailored workout plan, we offer concessionary Personal Training at £25 per hour. Our trainers have experience in a variety of different medical conditions.

Swimming

We have a dedicated session in our pool timetable for those with a registered disability. Come down on a Friday's 10.30am - 11.30am and pay £2.65 

Please tell reception if you require the pool hoist, we will happily help.

Ping in the Community

Ping in the community is a table tennis package designed to bring members of the community closer together and to help people lead more active and sociable lifestyles, irrespective or ability or background. 

We have tables available for play on Fridays from 16.30-19.30 and also on Sunday from 11am- 2pm. 
These sessions cost £1.50 per participant and hire of our equipment is available for a £5 holding deposit. 
No need to come with a playing partner as you will be sure to find one on the day. 
This is available for all ages. Those under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian over the age of 18.
