Swimming is a great way to stay physically active, whatever your age or ability. Whether you’re lane swimming to maintain and develop your fitness, splashing around with the family or learning to swim so that you can join in the fun, we have something for you.

Never too young; never too old! We follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework to deliver swimming lessons that build water confidence from the first splash for a lifetime of water safety and enjoyment. Click on the Swimming lessons tile below.

We have a wide variety of swimming sessions to fit into your schedule before or after work, during your lunch break, at weekends with the family or during the day. See our timetable below for session times and prices.
Want to join?
If you swim regularly (roughly twice a week), a membership could save you money.
Health suite
Our new Health Suite, located just off the main pool, is available to Premium and Swim members at no extra cost.
Features include:
- Sauna
- Steam room
- Plunge shower
- New lighting
- New flooring and tiling
All steam room and sauna costs include swimming, pending timetable availability. For availability please refer to the steam room and sauna timetable part of the pool timetable.
- Gym members £6.00
- Non-members £8.00
Steam room and sauna rules
So, everyone can enjoy their steam room and sauna experience please:
- Collect your sauna and steam room wrist band from reception
- Shower before re-entering the pool
- Wear suitable swim wear
- Use for a maximum of 20 minutes
- Seek medical advice should you have a medical condition you are concerned about
- Re-hydrate using the drinks fountain by the female showers
The following are not permitted:
- Children under 16 years of age
- Shaving
- Liquids and oils other than water
- Food or glass containers
