Gym

Our gyms are great for all ages and open all day. Why not talk to a member of the team to design a programme to suit you? Our opening times are:

  • Monday - Friday: 6am - 9:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 7:30am - 5pm

Classes

Enjoy moving to the music in our motivating and social classes. Great for mind, body and soul, so why not book now?

Forever Active

Suitable for older adults, pre and post natal and those new to exercise, Forever Active is a low impact keep fit class with an extended warm up to maintain and improve co-ordination, flexibility, strength and fitness. The cost of this session is £3.75 or free for members and the times are:

  • Tuesday: 11:05am -12:05pm
  • Wednesday: 11:05am - 11:50am
  • Friday: 12:30pm - 1:15pm
Yoga

Yoga offers exercise for all levels through an intense total body workout. Build strength, flexibility and definition in this chilled out class. Yoga or Power Chi Yoga is free for members or £6.30 for non-members. The session times are:

  • Tuesday - Power Chi Yoga: 8pm - 8:45pm
  • Saturday - Power Chi Yoga: 10:15am - 11:15am
  • Sunday - Yoga: 5pm - 6pm
Pilates

Pilates teaches you how to use your muscles in a controlled way so that they work in harmony with your breathing. It strengthens they body through movement and is ideal for all levels of fitness. Pilates runs on Fridays from 7:30pm - 8:30pm and its £6.30 or free for members.

Steady Steps

This session runs on a Wednesday in a block of 12 weeks and you will need to self-refer through the council in order to attend.

Swimming

Swimming is a great way to stay physically active. See the timetable for details on our older adult swim sessions.

Senior Swims

Free for over 60s and run during the following lane swims:

  • Tuesday - 2:45pm - 3:45pm
  • Friday - 9:30am - 10:30am
  • Sunday - 8am - 9am

Forever Active Aquafit

A total body workout. Aquafit ensures that you use every muscle in your body by using the water as resistance. The water takes out the impact of the moves so you can work at your own level and get results! Aquafit times are:

  • Monday – 11:30am - 12:15pm
  • Monday – 7pm- 7:45pm
  • Thursday – 7pm - 7:45pm

Other Activities

We have a range of activities for older adults to enjoy and maintain a healthy lifestyle and meet new friends.

Senior Badminton

Sessions run on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am -12pm, free for members and £5 or non-members. Book online or give us a call on 01455 610011.

Tea Dance

Join us on the last Tuesday of every month from 2-4pm to show us your moves! Tea and coffees are available at 50p each and sessions are hosted by Paul Sharman. The session is open to everyone and all abilities. Call us on 01455 610011 to book your place.

New Age Kurling

Join Hinckley Tornados on Monday afternoons from 1-2:30pm in the main hall (except during schools holidays). This session is open to everyone, is £2.50 per session and the first week is FREE! No need to book, just turn up!
