Making the team

Here are the clubs that use our centre.

Ripley Rascals

We take children from the age of 5, and teach them the four basic swimming strokes in the small pool. They progress to swimming in the main pool, learning skills such as diving and tumble turns, and develop their stamina by swimming longer distances.

RASCALS – Ripley Amateur Swimming Club And Life Savers

With a Learn-To-Swim section as well, we offer training for aspiring and experienced athletes in both disciplines, from Local and County level through to Midland, National and International, with some who started with us reaching the Olympic Team, currently Molly Renshaw and Jacob Whittle.

This covers all aspects from stroke to turns and experience competing in Open Meets, Galas and Championships for both swimming and lifesaving sections, all following the guidance of the respective Governing Bodies: Swim England; RLSS & Surf GB.

All of this with fun, friends and family in mind, as they can help too!
