NPLQ Courses
We regularly run NPLQ courses here at Sparkhill Pool & Fitness Centre. Learn valuable life saving skills and become qualified for a job in lifeguarding with part time and full time options available.
And why stop there? If you become a lifeguard at a Places Leisure Centre, you will have the opportunity to progress your career in leisure, with potential Placemaker, Placemaker Manager, and Duty Manager roles available in the centre.

Course 1
- Monday 11th 7.00am - 5.00PM
- Wednesday 13th 7.00am - 4.50pm
- Thursday 14th 12.00pm - 7.00pm
Course 2
- Monday 18th 7.00am - 5.00pm
- Wednesday 20th 7.00am - 4.30pm
- Thursday 21st 12.00pm - 7.00pm
