Mid Sussex Marathon

Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend 2022

After two years of virtual events, we are delighted to confirm the Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend will return for its 11th consecutive year with a ‘live’ event. This year, the event will be held from Saturday 30th April to Monday 2nd May.

Participants can once again challenge themselves to complete an individual town race or complete the full marathon distance over the three days. Or, if you're unable to attend the event, you can also take part in the virtual race! The virtual event will take place between Saturday 16th April and Monday 2nd May.

The event is planned as follows:

Day one: Saturday 30th April

Location: East Grinstead Rugby Club, Saint Hill Road, East Grinstead, RH19 4JU

• 09.30am Mid Sussex Fun Run
• 10.00am Mid Sussex Mile
• 10.30am 10 Mile Race (1st leg of the Mid Sussex Marathon)

Day two: Sunday 1st May

Location: Victoria Park, South Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 4LR

• 10.00am Mid Sussex Mile
• 10.30am 10 Mile Race (2nd leg of the Mid Sussex Marathon)

Day three: Monday 2nd May

Location: The Burgess Hill Academy, (Playing Field) Station Road, Burgess Hill, RH15 9EA

• 10.00am Mid Sussex Mile
• 10.30am 10K Race (3rd leg of the Mid Sussex Marathon)
